Valentines Greetings!

Hello Real Estate Friends!
We hope this message finds all of you happy and healthy!
This time of year homes and businesses dress up their decor with hearts and cupids to celebrate a day all about love and affection. Hearts symbolizing love can be traced back to the Middle Ages!
How about a different kind of focus on the heart for this Valentine’s Greeting? There are many different components of the heart and a man or woman truly can not love or live without one.
The heart is relatively small in size. It is about the size of a fist and weighs 11 ounces on average. The heart is responsible for pumping 2,000 gallons of blood through 60,000 miles of blood vessels each day. It beats 72 times per minute in a healthy adult. All of the cells in the body receive blood except the corneas of the eyes.
While the heart may not be the cornerstone of emotions, it can be affected by feelings. Bad news or a break up with a loved one can put a person at increased risk for a heart attack. Conversely laughter and positive feelings can be beneficial for the heart. A good laughing fit can cause the lining of the blood vessel walls to relax. This helps increase blood flow for up to 45 minutes afterward.
Now- what are you going to be doing for fun this weekend?
I’m not even going to make any suggestions for Saturday Night (Valentine’s Day), because if you don’t have plans already, it may be better to just stay home and avoid the crowds. But here are a few ideas for the rest of the weekend:
One of our dear friends John Sawyer will be performing a concert as part of the Broken Arrow PAC’s Up Close Concert series. He will be accompanied by pianist Rob Muraoka and guitarist Miles Ralston. Performance: 7:30 p.m. Friday, at the Broken Arrow PAC, 701 S. Main St., Broken Arrow. Tickets: $20. 918-259-5778,
Free smothered burritos on Saturday at Qdoba restaurants.
Those who purchase one smothered burrito on Valentine’s Day and give a kiss to someone will receive a second smothered burrito free on the same visit. I like the idea!
Keep the romance going strong through the weekend by attending Tulsa Opera’s performance of “Romeo and Juliet”
2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Tulsa PAC, 101 E. Third St. Tickets: $25-$105, 918-587-4811,
Another way to celebrate the weekend? Come see us at our Open House this Sunday February 15th from 2-4 at 3703 East 97th Street, This is a beautiful, executive home with a pool and cabana in gated Crown Pointe! We would love to see you!
Happy Valentine’s Day from the Harral Team! As always, please feel free to contact us with any of your Real Estate questions!
